Disney is planning to expand its Infinity franchise.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the company is developing new versions of Disney Infinity using the Marvel and Star Wars properties -Disney acquired Lucasfilm and the Star Wars license back in 2012.
Furthermore, people “close to the company” have stated that the company is preparing to lay off “several hundred people despite a strong launch for its video game, ‘Infinity.’” Layoffs could begin as soon as the quarterly results are released on Wednesday, February 5.
