Microsoft's Kinect Korean Border Guard
Demilitarized zone, which lies between North and South Korea is now under the all-seeing eye view based on a system of sensors Kinect.
According Hankooki, a network of Kinect was built self-taught coder Jae Kwan Ko, and active since last August. As is now known, the system is able to distinguish humans from animals that overcome the DMZ. If the system notices a man, the officers get a message about it.
As the author says: "I've never seen a video game system that was in the service of national defense," adding that future versions will be able to measure heart rate and thermal signatures, this means that the system will be transferred to the new Kinect sensor from Xbox One, that have really unique abilities.
assumed that the updated version will start later this year.
